NovaraJazz 2010|11
NovaraJazz has just reached its eighth edition with italian premier of Ebo Taylor, legendary star of the Ghanaian music and the afrobeat scene, Gianluigi Trovesi, Matthias Spillmann, Fulvio Maras and the Big Band of the Lucerne School of Music presenting Dedalo, the Dutch ensemble I Compani and its new project Last Tango in Paris.
Gianluca Petrella closes the festival with a tribute to Nino Rota for the centenary of the birth: a project of the association I-Jazz in co-production with NovaraJazz and I-Jazz Ensemble 2011 (Giovanni Guidi, John De Leo, Beppe Scardino, Andrea Sartori, Joe Rehmer and Cristiano Calcagnile).
NovaraJazz also this year presents projects and large previews from the Italian and International jazz scene on the main stages of Piazza della Repubblica and Auditorium Cantelli in the heart of Novara; then dj set with Soulful Torino, Oslo Soul Experience and Linda & Ted Couldstone, jazz brunch and sunset jazz in the most evocative locations of the province, a large photo exhibition, cinema, young bands and more.
