NovaraJazz 2012|13

NovaraJazz season 2012/2013 opens with a preview at Casa Bossi in Novara, with the two saxophonists Gianni Mimmo and Harri Sjöström. It goes on with five concert at Auditoriums of the Cantelli Conservatory and the Brera Music: Piero Bittolo Bon Jump the Shark, Jason Adasiewicz Sun Rooms, Francesco Cusa The Assassins, Anat Fort and Gianluigi Trovesi and Jon Balke piano solo.

NovaraJazz 2013 is the X edition. It confirms Broletto’s courtyard as the festival main stage. Alberto Mandarini and Cantelli Conservatory Orchestra is both the last concert for Festival dei Fiati and NovaraJazz preview. Italian Instabile Orchestra for the artistic residence, Kapok, Peter Solo, Cristiano Calcagnile Lingue di Fuoco, Gianluca Petrella and Roberto Cecchetto, Wadada Leo Smith with Eco d’Alberi, Mauro Ottolini Sousaphonix, Volta 45, The Sweet Life Society, Soulful Torino with Henrik Åkerberg and Invernomuto with Melaku Belay are the artists who have scaled the scenes on the Broletto main stage.

NovaraJazz is not just concerts and is completed with a number of collateral activities: concerts with tasting typical food and wine in the historic places of the province, jam session, happy hours with dj set, the photographic exhibition for NovaraJazz ten years at Casa Bossi and the photographer Luciano Rossetti’s exhibition at BASEXALTEZZA art gallery, young band live performances along the city streets and afterhours.
