NovaraJazz 2011|12
NovaraJazz 2012 opens with the Italian Instabile Orchestra artistic residence. The festival returns to Broletto’s courtyard, the medieval heart of the city. Broletto and Auditoriums of the Cantelli Conservatory and the Brera Music Institute host NovaraJazz major concerts: the new production of drummer Vijay Anderson into Touch and Go sextet, Ricardo Gallo Cuartet, the French afrobeat collective Fanga and Nick Pride and the Pimptones feat. Snowboy and their funky jazz. There are also dj set with Raphael Sebbag, Afrobeat Torino and Kid Loco.
NovaraJazz is not just concerts and is completed with a number of collateral activities: jam sessions, musician workshop and children lab, young band live performances along the city streets, afterhours and two international exhibitions between Casa Bossi, reinterpreted by Gian Maria Tosatti with Tetralogia della Polvere, and the installation of Roberto Masotti dedicated to John Cage at BASEXALTEZZA Gallery.
